Venturing Crew 497 Minutes

Old business:
*There are three options for camping: Kars Park, Jakes Lake, and Sebastian Inlet.
*The crew is now registered for Philmont, and we are in for 12days in June.
*!REMEMBER! Dustin's eagle project at The Enchanted Forest Nov. 9th from 1-5pm. (bring shovels, and gloves)
*The campout the 21-22 of November will be a busy one since Caribbean Groove has a gig and the 22 is the date of Matt E.'s eagle project so even if you have something going on still come if you can.
*!REMEMBER! Matt E.'s eagle project Nov 22nd, from 8am-1pm at Sebastian Inlet.
*Scouting for Food Sat. Nov. 8th 2003. meet at the church at 8:30am.
*PAD 34 clean up! Nov. 15th . We will leave Sunrise around 8am. Or you can meet us at the south gate to Canaveral Air Force Station at 8:30. We will be able to cut Australian Pines that can be used to create a gateway.
New Busines:
*The first 30 is now designated for Committees to meet.
*Kaitlin will call to get more info about spelunking and caving.
*Tangerine Bowl campout and football game. Dec 13th price campout and football game is $20.(dinner, breakfast and snacks provided along with a patch and movie on the JUMBOTRON) Football game is Dec 22nd. 15$ if you only want to go to the game and not the campout.
*The crew is doing the toy drive with the troop along with the Cocoa Police Dept. Please bring a NEW toy for a boy or girl by Dec. 9th for more details ask Dustin.
*The Crew will help plan the troop's 15 mile backpacking tip on Jan 2-4th 2004. see Mr. Huggins for details.
Next Meeting:
*bring backpacking stoves and mess kits if you have them and every one bring something you think can be cooked on the stoves
*Everyone needs to bring something they think can be cooked on a backpacking stove for a (healthy)dinner
*Committees need to be prepared to give action plans.
