Crew 497 Meeting notes October 21, 2003
Robert is going to call Jakes Lake to find out if we can camp there on the 21-23 of November. It will be a backpacking preparation weekend. Any of the experienced backpackers need to bring there gear. Robert will teach how about he different stove type, Dustin is going to teach about he different types of backpacks, Mrs. Huggins will be teaching how to cook, and Matt H. will teach about how to purify water.
Kars Park v. Jake’s lake? We voted to go to Jake’s Lake. Mr. Buddy is going to register us for Philmont. We went over what we did the week before. Dustin’s eagle project work day is scheduled for November 9. The Central Florida Council is making a book on its history. It is encouraging the packs, troops, and the crews to take part in it. If we want to be in the book we need to send in a 300 word report on our history. Super weekend is on February 22-22, 03. August 27-29 and September 17-19, 2003 is an adult leader’s coarse week end called pocket Horn Course. Dustin is the crew’s new OA representative. If we want to go spelunking we need to contact Christ Margais.
