The crew discussed lesson learned from the camporee.
1. Move the adults further away from the crew.
2. Label "crew" on everything so there is no confusion about what is ours.
3. Waterproof tents

Ø The crew was asked if we would help Dustin on his Eagle project which is scheduled for Nov. 8th but that day may be changed. For info about his eagle project call Dustin.
Ø The crew decided to do a "scout skills" campout at Jakes Lake on Nov. 21st-23rd to learn: how to pack and prepare food for backpacking, how to use the microstoves, how to carry, pack and walk with a backpacking backpack, how to maintain water, the correct shoes to use backpacking, how to BATH IN A CUP, personal hygiene, and test different types of backpacks, and also learn basic scout skills
Ø The crew decided to do a PAD 34 clean up with the troop on Nov. 15
New business
Ø To help our sponsor, anyone free on Oct 18th there is a church wide cleanup. Everyone should get an e-mail concerning this.
Ø The crew decided to put the crew in the lottery for the trip to Philmont in 2005, and we will make alternative plans just in case the crew isn't chosen.
Ø Future meetings will be every week until the crew is done forming, or until we are more formed.
Ø We need to decide a deadline to get class A's for the crew at the next meeting.
Ø FUNDRAISERS need to get started so the crew has some $money$ to do trips.
