Testing and certification of both solar water and pool heating collectors is a State of Florida-mandated activity. All collectors and systems sold or manufactured in Florida must be certified by FSEC.

The FSEC testing program evaluates solar collectors to determine that they meet the certification standards.

The following documents provide complete information on FSEC's collector testing program and ancillary standards. Included are forms that must be completed for firms interested in having their collectors tested and certified at FSEC. Further questions regarding this program should be addressed to the Testing & Operations Division.
