The EnergyGauge products were developed to allow the easy and accurate calculation of energy use and demand in residential buildings, and it is one of the most successful products developed by FSEC. 

In the past, most residential energy analysis tools have used simplified methods to calculate residential building energy performance. EnergyGauge USA takes advantage of personal computer technology and the widely-respected DOE-2.1E software to complete an hourly annual simulation in under 30 seconds.

The EnergyGauge family is composed of:

• EG Florida Residential (residential buildings, Florida only)
• EG Florida Commercial (commercial buildings, Florida only)
• EG USA Residential (residential buildings, nationwide)
