Junior Solar Sprint

The Junior Solar Sprint (JSS) is a program that challenges students to design, build and race model-sized, solar-powered vehicles.  Learn strategies that veteran JSS teachers and mentors have used over the years to create winning teams.  Portions of the curriculum unit, Solar Matters III are used to guide students as they test their design and construction theories.  Solar Matters III is aligned with the Sunshine State Standards in science and mathematics.  All participants receive materials and have access to hands-on equipment for use in their classrooms.  Inservice credits are available.
