Questions 

How much space can one expect to cool if a HPWH is installed inside the home?
3000 - 4000 BTU cooling, covers about  200 - 300 sq/ft    

What is the cost of the various water heater types?
Airtap starts at $700.00, Other types using circulation pumps range from $900.00 and above  

Why aren't electric storage or tankless water heaters ENERGY STAR® Rated?
At about .92EF, there is little room for more improvement with Electric Water Heaters - storage or instant.  

How long does each units life compare with the warranty given?
To meet energystar requirements, the units must meet the following warranty requirements.
Gas storage = 6+ Years
Gast condensing = 8+ Years
Heat Pump Water Heater = 6+ Years
Whole House Gas Tankless = 5+ on parts/10+ on heat exchanger.
