Getting maximum use with minimum effort out of Florida's Code and Rating Software

Course Description

EnergyGauge FlaRes is Florida's residential Energy Code and energy rating software. The instructors walk the students through entering data into EnergyGauge. Students learn how to obtain the forms for Florida energy code compliance. They also learn how to take the same data, add a little bit more information and calculate the heating and colling loads. Students will explore the Improvement Analysis mode that allows users to view the benefits of energy upgrades, and the Optimization feature that will let the computer derive the most cost-effective upgrades to achieve energy goals.
