FSEC's PV module performance certification program has been developed over many years. During that time, FSEC has acquired equipment for both indoor and outdoor testing of PV modules including a SPI-SUN 660 flash simulator manufactured by Spire.
In December 2003, PowerMark Corporation (PMC) accredited FSEC to certify photovoltaic modules for their power ratings. The PowerMark accreditation of FSEC provides PV manufacturers with a module certification program that verifies the performance of their modules and that adheres to relevant national and international standards.
