Hydrogen fuel cell research and development programs at FSEC have enjoyed a long history of funding from external sources by both contracts and grants. The following three categories provide an overview of present projects conducted with funding from external sources.
DOE Projects
A major component of the hydrogen and fuel cell research program has been supported by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
NASA Grant
NASA Hydrogen Research at Florida Universities program has sponsored research projects in the areas of , production, storage, fuel cells, sensors,space power, and education.
Industry and Other Organizations
Throughout the years, FSEC has conducted research with the support of industry partners and other organizations. The fruit of these partnerships can be seen in the variety of hydrogen projects conducted.
