Infrared Thermography

We have used an infrared camera (Inframetrics model 600L) to take pictures of the portables to examine "hot" and "cool" areas of the portables. Infrared cameras function by utilizing long wave radiation to form a colored "image" of an object. In the photographs, the light colors are the hottest area while the dark colors are the coldest (i.e. white was the hottest, black was the coldest).
