Cella Energy Ltd jointly with the UCF-FSEC is developing polymer/hydride nano-composite hydrogen storage materials for mobile applications. Cella Energy It is a new start-up company with facilities in Oxfordshire, UK and NASA-Kennedy Space Center in the US. We seek a highly motivated early stage researcher with experience in hydrogen storage technologies – particularly chemical storage in ammonia borane and related adducts and complex hydrides. The prospective candidate will have materials characterisation experience and particularly as it relates to hydrogen storage materials performance. Experience in the synthesis of hydrides would be valuable as would knowledge of polymer and solvent chemistry and their interactions. The successful candidate is expected to spend some time at the Cella Energy Labs at the NASA-KSC Space Life Sciences Center and the Rutherford Appleton Lab., Oxfordshire, UK.
